The competition : to correctly complete the answers to all 3 (multiple choice) questions as posed on the competition entry form. All answers are visible on the
Countrywide Holidays website (access via Competition page on www.retirement-matters.co.uk
by clicking on
the various Countrywide Holidays website links in the form of textual links,
banners and logos to www.countrywidewalking.com
) - it is not necessary to look elsewhere for the answers.
The Prize : Countrywide Holidays will provide the winning entrant and his / her partner with a 4
night break to be taken from the current Countrywide brochure (see website)
before 31st October 2003. Accommodation will be in en-suite
twin or double rooms, on a half-board basis with packed lunches provided
on walking days. In the event of their unforeseen cancellation,
Countrywide Holidays would offer an alternative 4 night break to
be taken from current Countrywide brochure. Special requests such
as a low floor or special meals should be advised at time of being
selected as the winner, and Countrywide will do their best to accommodate
your request, although this cannot be guaranteed.
RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Players must supply full name, address, age and e-mail details and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
2. Only one entry will be accepted per person and per e-mail address. There will be one outright winner only.
3. The results will be posted on the website www.retirement-matters.co.uk after the competition is closed, and only the winner will be contacted personally. The winner's name will be posted on the website.
4. The closing date for this competition is midnight 30th April 2003. All entries received by e-mail before midnight on this date will be eligible for this competition.
5. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries.
6. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred or passed to another person(s). There can be no cash equivalent under any circumstances, and spending money and extra expenses incurred are not provided by either
Countrywide Holidays or any of their associated companies / subsidiaries, or the Promoters of this competition.
NOT INCLUDED are travel to and from the departure point, travel insurance
(highly recommended) food, drinks, gratuities or bar bills and any other expenses of a personal nature.
7. The competition is not open to employees or directors of Retirement Matters Ltd t/as www.retirement-matters.co.uk and/or
Countrywide Holidays or any of their associated companies / subsidiaries, or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition or their direct family members.
8. The panel of judge's decision is final in every situation including any not covered in these rules, terms and conditions, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The panel of judges reserve the right, in the event of circumstances arising outside of their control which in their opinion makes it necessary, to cancel or change the competition at any stage.
10. The panel of judges will be comprised of directors and personnel of Retirement Matters Ltd.
11. Only electronic form entries used within the competition section will be accepted. This does not include e-mails. Entrants must have a valid e-mail address at the time of entry. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorised account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address by an online service provider, Internet access provider or other organisation responsible for assigning the e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address, is considered the authorised account holder. Winners may be required to provide the Promoter with proof that they are the authorised account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entries.
12. Travel insurance is not included in the competition prize. The winner should note that it is
recommended to arrange suitable and adequate travel insurance for their purposes, and no responsibility can be accepted for neglecting to do so. The
type of holiday envisaged should be mentioned to the travel insurer, and to the winner's medical practitioner prior to accepting the prize. Medical conditions of which the winner is aware should be declared to the travel insurer at the time of arranging travel insurance.
13. The winner should confirm in good time, and before accepting this prize, that they and their
traveling companion are fit to travel as this will be their sole responsibility, as will arranging any medical protection
/ needs required for this holiday. If in doubt, please contact Countrywide Holidays
and / or your medical practitioner before accepting this
prize.
14. The competition is open to UK residents only. Overseas players are not eligible.
15. The prize will be awarded to the first correct entry examined - correct means that all 3 multiple choice questions posed on the questionnaire competition entry form (as completed by the entrant via e-mail) must be correctly answered. The correct answers to all the questions posed will be available after the closing date, and may be requested by contacting
enquiries@retirement-matters.co.uk
If when contacted, the winner advises that the prize cannot be accepted, there will be no compensation or alternative. The prize will then be awarded to the second correct entrant examined etc.
16. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
17. This agreement is covered by the laws of England and Wales.
18. This competition is a game promoted by Retirement Matters Ltd t/as www.retirement-matters.co.uk.
