This is the terrible experience of Kelvin Summoogum whose grandmother died because she lived alone, had a fall, and was unable to summon help. When she was eventually found, 12 hours later, it was too late and she sadly died of her injuries.
This traumatic experience inspired Kelvin to develop a product that would ensure elderly people could get help quickly using smart technology.
The MiiCare
The MiiCare is a tech enabled device that uses an innovative AI-based solution so people can get help just by sensors monitoring activity anywhere in the house.
How it works
- Sensors are placed around the house in key locations to monitor activity
